About the Norwich Bed and Breakfast

Norwich Bed and Breakfast at Shear Luck Farm is
conveniently located a quick four miles form Dartmouth
College in Hanover, New Hampshire and only two miles from
the center of the town of Norwich, Vermont.

Situated on twenty magnificent acres, our home is a 125
year old traditional New England farm house, a wondrous
gem from a by-gone era.

Norwich Bed and Breakfast, nestled atop Bradley Hill,
offers its guests majestic views of the snow-capped White
Mountains and some of the most beautiful scenery in all of
Vermont.

Across a country road lined with mature maples is an
historic one-hundred-year old post and beam barn, a
landmark in the area. This barn is home to a flock of
friendly ewes and curious hens.

Our tranquil country setting beckons outdoor enthusiasts to long walks and bike rides along miles of meandering unpaved roads—especially spectacular during fall foliage. When the snow falls, guests take to our open fields for cross country skiing and snowshoeing surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.

Hiking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming are accessible locally, as are golf, tennis, skating and downhill skiing. Dartmouth Skiway in nearby Lyme, New Hampshire, a twenty-minute drive from the bed and breakfast, provides skiing fun for the entire family.
